The least depth of the harbour entrance is 6.8m. From a position N of the entrance channel the track leads S, passing between No 1 and No 2 Lightbuoys (33°39.24'N 131°07.57'E), through the channel, dredged to 7.5m, and between outer detached breakwaters.
