An anchorage is established 1.25nm ENE of Dique del Norte head in a depth of approx 20.0m. The anchorage is recommended during offshore winds, with onshore winds mariners are cautioned regarding El Mitjanet.

Documents
If vessels carry over 6kg of tobacco per man, the excess to be declared in a separate manifest, which must be visaed by Spanish Consul at the last port, otherwise vessels is exposed to heavy fines.
Health
If the vessel proceeds directly to the berth, pratique can be obtained immediately after berthing, otherwise at anchorage on arrival.
If any vessel has sickness onboard of a contagious nature, the master should advise the health authorities by radio, and they will examine patients upon arrival, to enable the vessel to be granted free pratique.
