Zhuanghe is 140km from Dalian port, 120km from Dayaowan port, 120km from Dadong port. It is a town situated close inland 4.8km N of Styena Point. There are 2 landmarks, Western Peak 552m high and Mount Konus Dalni 1,137m high. Standing 30km and 47km NNW of Styena Point, both are prominent.

Zhuanghe is situated on the Liaodong Peninsula, N of Shicheng Island, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea, NE China.
The port
The port, surrounded by 79 rivers and is an area rich in mineral resources of silica, gold and magnesium. The main local produce is grain, apples, goat wool, chicken and shellfish. Zhuanghe encourages trade with Korea, Japan, SE Asia and Russia. Nanjian, Heidao and Dalayao are local fishing ports.
