The buoyage system used in the Changjiang River is the Chinese National Standard system of buoyage.
Anchorages
Depth 10.0m; bottom, mud and sand.
Port anchorage: Located inside port shoal in a depth of 10.0m, mud and sand bottom gives good holding. Vessels up to 25,000DWT can use the anchorage.
Luochengzhou anchorage: Located inside No 2 Red Buoy with a depth of 10m, mud and sand bottom gives good holding. Vessels up to 25,000DWT can use the anchorage.
Restrictions
There is no possibility of entry or departure after sunset.
Maximum recommended draught limit is 10.5m.
Tugs
Four tugs available, 2 x 3,600hp, 1 x 2,640 and 1 x 1,670hp.

Yangzhou is located on the Changjiang (Yangtze) River N of Zhenjiang.
The port
The port consists of three independent bodies, Yangzhou port, Jiangdu Port District and Yizheng Port District.
Main cargoes handled at the port are steel, ore, minerals, grain, timber, container, coal and chemical fertiliser. Yangzhou is the second largest port for timber transhipment on the Yangtze. Yangzhou Yuanyang International Ports Co. operate the COSCO Pacific Container Terminal.
