The inner pier is approached by a channel dredged to depth of 3.7m; the entrance is marked by two lightbuoys 0.7nm SW of the pier head. There are mooring buoys off the berth.
Anchorages
May be found ENE of Secche di Vada, (43°19.8'N 010°24.0'E) in depths of 10.0-17.0m, sand, mud and weed, good holding ground.
