Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI):

Croatia has signed a PSI ship boarding agreement with the USA aimed at stemming the flow of weapons of mass destruction. If a US or Croatia flagged vessel is suspected of trafficking proliferation related cargo, either party to this agreement can request authorisation to board, search and possibly detain the others vessel and its cargo.

The port

The port is currently closed for commercial operations. Information for the port is retained should the port reopen.

An LNG export facility with LNG supplied via pipeline from the Turkmenbashi Refinery. The port has storage capacity for 10,500t of LNG, with an annual throughput of 200,000t.
