Approach

The port is approached by Glukhoy Kanal which connects the Temryuk branch of Reka Kuban to the sea.

Caution: Strong winds may cause heavy silting and depth changes in the Glukhoy Kanal. Vessels should keep to the centre of the channel.

Anchorages

May be found in convenient depths off the entrance to Glukhoy Kanal. This anchorage is open from W, through N to NE and is affected by a constant current from Reka Kuban.

Tugs

Tugs are available and compulsory for vessels over 500GT.
