The harbour may be approached by passing either side of Nok Do (33°14.0'N 126°34.0'E), which fronts the entrance to the harbour. The outer harbour is then entered between the heads of the E and W breakwater.
Anchorages
Outer anchorage: Temporary anchorage may be obtained outside the harbour according to draught, but there is no protection from the S, sand and mud.
