33m and is located approx 0.3nm off the beach.
Mooring
Berthing and unberthing can be at any time.
It is advisable to use an anchor to assist berthing. In the NE monsoon (Oct - Mar) piers 1-4 should be approached from the S and this is especially necessary on the falling tide. In the SW monsoon (May - Sep), especially on the rising tide, the piers should be approached from N; as the land provides no lee, berthing may be hazardous under these conditions. Vessels must be prepared to leave the berth at the first sign of bad weather.
