Approach

Vessels may anchor in Nordmalingsfjarden in depths of 4-13m and in depths of 4.5-6m, clay and sand, just off the harbour.
Tugs

Restrictions:
Vessels with an LOA 110-130m mean wind > 8 m/s.
Note: Tug assistance for vessels without a working bow thruster is increased with one tug (min 10t bollard pull).

Nearest railway: The port, sawmill and industrial area is connected to the Rundvik rail freight terminal ( 63° 33.125'N., 19° 25.885'E). The Rail freight terminal will be able to cater between 20-28 trains per week handling 2,400m3 of logs per journey. The track consists of two tracks and is strategically located between Umea and Ornskoldsvik.
Nearest highway: Port has access to E4 which travels N to Umea and to the Swedish/Finnish border at Haparanda. It also travels S to Stockholm and down to Helsingborg by the Swedish/Danish border.
