Anchorages

The roadstead off Rohukula provides sheltered anchorage for vessels of a suitable draught, alternatively anchorage may be obtained in a depth of approx 5.9m, mud, approx 2.75nm W of Rukkirahu.

Mooring

Harbour Supervisor shall be presented at the quay and assign the vessels location to the embankment ramp or the processed cargo during mooring. the distance between vessels moored at the quay shall secure the safety of vessels.

The port

The port is situated in Ridala rural district, 9 kilometres from Haapsalu. The port water area is closed from northern side by N stone pier, from S and SW partially broken waterway. Principal task is to received and service liners. In addition, there are conditions for receiving and servicing cargo and passenger ships.

Approx 500,000t of cargo and 375,000 passengers are handled annually.
