Approach

Small vessels can obtain good anchorage anywher in Rekefjord as far as Knapperholmen. Larger vessels anchor in the wider part of the fjord 0.4nm N of Lille Prestskjaer Light, in depths up to 28.0m, with the stern moored to the shore.
Restrictions
Vertical Clearances: An overhead power cable, with a vertical clearance of 40m, spans the fjord, 0.7nm within the entrance.
Three other overhead cables, with a least vertical clearance of 13m, span the channel between Knapperholmen (58°20.2'N 006°15.6'E) and the mainland to the E and the head of the fjord.
Submarine cables and pipelines: Two submarine cables are laid across the fjord from Alterodden (58°19.6'N 006°15.6), the N-most cable then extends along the W shore to Tverrdalen, 0.25nm N.
Submarine pipelines are laid along the shores of the N part of Rekefjord.
