Vessels may obtain anchorage, over a bottom of sand and clay, 0.1nm WNW of the head of the mole; otherwise vessels can anchor anywhere round the head of Eidsfjorden, care being taken to keep W of drying banks, marked in places by iron perches.
Restrictions
Submarine pipelines: An outfall pipeline is laid 0.15nm SSW from the N shore of the harbour. Another submarine pipeline is laid through the NE part of the small craft basin on the S side of the harbour to a position close N of the mole.
