The port limits are from Cape Emine to Ravda.
Anchorages
Anchorage may be obtained in depths of 9.0-14m, sand and shell between Nessebar and Nos Akrotiriya, a steep rocky point lying 1nm SW of Nessebar.
Small craft may obtain anchorage in the harbour.
Tugs
There are tugs available from Bourgas.

Reporting before arrival
updated May 2010ETA and pre-arrival notices
ETA messages should be sent to the vessel's agent at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Any variation in the ETA should be advised as soon as possible. The ETA message should include the exact ETA of the vessel and number of passengers and crew.
Communications
Varna Radio, which operates throughout 24 hours, should be used for passing ETA messages. Inmarsat communications are possible and may be used for direct contact with the vessel's agent.

Health

Crew proceeding ashore are allowed 2 packets of cigarettes. If this amount is exceeded a fine may be imposed.
The Immigration office requires a seaman's passport prior to issuing a shore pass.
