About Kozmino

updated Jan 2025

Where it is

Kozmino Oil Port is located on the SW shore of the outer part of Kozmino Bay, close E of Nakhodka.

The port

Kozmino is a key oil port in Russia, located on the eastern coast near Nakhodka. It serves as the final point of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipeline, facilitating the export of Russian crude oil, primarily to Asian markets like China (mainland), Japan, and South Korea. The plant handles propane, butane, kerosene, gasoline, DO and gas carbon. Kozmino's strategic position allows it to handle large-scale shipments of crude oil, contributing significantly to Russia's energy exports, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. It plays a crucial role in diversifying Russia’s energy trade routes and markets.

Traffic

Approx 35,000,000t of liquid cargo handled annually.
