Approach

Anchorage may be obtained within a designated area centred on 26°17.6'N 056°15.0'E about 3.75nm W of Ra's Shaykh.. Anchorage may also be obtained off the Port in good holding ground, in winter it is best to remain in depths greater than 18.0m, but in summer anchorage may be obtained in depths of 13.0m, fine sand.
Restrictions
Fish traps lie in the approach to the port. They are usually located within 5 miles of the coast; their positions are subject to frequent change.
