Recommended berths are as follows:

About Kalamaki

updated Mar 2025

Where it is

Kalamaki is located E of the SE mouth to the Corinth Canal on the N coast of Saronikos Gulf, Greece.

The port

Kalamaki Port is strategically located on the NE side of the bay, providing excellent shelter from all wind directions. This advantageous positioning makes it a reliable harbour for vessels; however, it is important to be aware that violent squalls can occur, particularly during strong N'ly winds, which may pose challenges for navigation and mooring.

Situated just SE of the village of Kalamaki, the port is easily accessible and serves as a vital hub for maritime activities in the region. The port is equipped with two key installations that cater to different types of cargo.

The first installation is the Soya Mills factory, which specialises in the loading and unloading of cereals and vegetable oils. This facility plays a crucial role in the agricultural supply chain, ensuring the efficient handling and transportation of these essential commodities.

The second installation is the Mourikis Private Pier, dedicated to the loading and discharging of timber and wood products. This pier supports the local timber industry, facilitating the export of wood materials and contributing to the economic development of the area.
