Anchorages

Anchorage at Iligan Bay and the vicinity is available almost anywhere at a distance of about 600-1,000m from the shoreline, which has a depth of about 80-120m. At a distance of about 0.5nm from the coastline, anchorage is difficult due to deep water that runs over 180m.

Restrictions

Berthing may not be possible during the monsoon season.

Tugs

Iligan Harbour Pilot's Association has 2 tugs for domestic and foreign vessels. Additional tugs are also available when necessary. It is important that the Master shipping agent notifies the Harbour Pilot at least 48 hours in advance to ensure the availability of tugs.
