From the Fairway Buoy a straight channel of 120m width and 12.2m depth leads towards the lighthouse on the head of the outer breakwater.

Compulsory reporting before arrival, turning, shifting and sailing within Halmstad port-area, to be given for all shifts by VHF, calling "Halmstad Pilots". Max speed within the harbour area is 5kts.

Anchorages

Anchoring is prohibited in the River Nissan within 50m of both sides of underwater cables crossing the river N of the shipyard. Warning signs are displayed.

Restrictions

Max length 275m and for swinging in inner port 200m. Vessels over 200m require two pilots and daytime movements only.
