There is a light on the end of the ferry terminal wharf, which is approached from the SE. Local knowledge is required.
Anchorages
The anchorage is approached from the SE. It is advisable to approach at a slow speed with the anchor lowered to 27m as the bank is very steep.
Small vessels can anchor on the edge of the bank off the mouth of a small stream that flows into the NE corner of the bay, with the stream bearing 010°, in this position there is good shelter even from E winds.
Anchorage can be found approx 0.7nm NE of the entrance to Riviere Godbout (49°19'N 67°36'W), sheltered from W winds, in depths from 10m to 40m.
