Reporting before arrival

Initial ETA to be sent to vessel's agent on departure from last port. Additional ETA's to be sent 72, 48 and 24 hours prior to arrival.
The ETA message should include: Vessel's particulars, cargo information, dangerous cargo (if any onboard, with details), health condition and stowaway details (if any).
Communications
Olympia Radio ("SVA") receives distress or urgent messages and public communication (working channel). Watch frequencies VHF/FM, 2182kHz and HF/DSC as follows:
MF 2187.5kHz.
HF 4207.5kHz, 6312kHz, 8414.5kHz, 12577kHz, 16804.5kHz.
Heraklio, Limnos and Corfu Radio for general watch calling frequencies.
The stations work throughout 24 hours. Port Radio is operated by the Hellenic Coast Guard.

Notice of readiness
Can be tendered anytime but will only be accepted between 0800-1700hrs.
Documents
Special forms exist for all documents but apply only to liner vessels. These are delivered onboard on arrival.
Health
Pratique should be applied for on arrival and cannot be applied for by radio.
Customs and immigration
Customs allowances: Each officer and crew member is allowed 1 bottle of spirits and 1 carton of cigarettes each.
Immigration: Immigration authorities issue crew passes. For EU nationals there are no Immigration procedures. There are special regulations for nationals of countries such as Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia and South American countries.
Crew being repatriated to non European countries must have a ticket which the agent must show to the authorities, agent's guarantees are requested by various authorities.

Repairs of all kinds can be carried out to vessels not exceeding 120,000DWT.
Dry docks
The 640m long quay wall, depths of from 7.0-9.0m and is equipped with 1 x 40t and 2 x 15t cranes. The 200m long transversal jetty is equipped with a 15t crane. One shipbuilding berth for vessels up to 150,000t, equipped with a 400t portal crane.
Jetty (projected SE from the quay): length 200m; depths from 9.0-10.0m at head and from 7.0-9.0m on each side.
Drydock (entered at NE end of quay): length 190m, width 55m, normally used as a building berth. A floating dock and mooring buoys are positioned 0.2nm ENE of the jetty head.

Bunkering: Available from land installations and floating tankers.

Eleusis is located on the Saronikos Gulf towards the SE of the mainland, 24km from Piraeus.
The port
The port of Eleusis is a small bay and deep basin between the North coast of Salamina island and the mainland. Port activities includes export : cement, oil-based paints, soap, wine, resin and olive oil. Imports consist of general goods. Port also handles breakbulk, dry bulk, containers, RoRo, passengers, LPG and liquid facilities.
Traffic
Approx 1,200,000t of cargo, 400TEU and 500 vessels handled annually.
