Where it is

Digby is situated on the E bank of the Bay of Fundy in the Province of Nova Scotia, 200km W of Halifax.

The port

The port has two main areas comprising a ferry terminal operated by Bay Ferries and a large fishing port.

The ferry terminal, located approx 4km N of the fishing port, operates the "Fundy Rose" on car/passenger/truck Ro-Ro ferry service to Saint John, New Brunswick. The fishing port, located on the shore front of Digby town, consists of a single 'F' shaped pier of which only the main stem is used for commercial traffic.
