Anchorage may be obtained in a position 0.6nm SSW of Quarantine Point (34°58.8'N 033°43'E) in depths of approx 29m, good holding ground, mud and weed.
Restrictions
Vessels are not normally permitted to berth at night, but may leave at any time.
Tugs
1 x 3,500hp, 35t bollard pull tug available. To be ordered via agent.
Mooring
CBM berth consists of 3 buoys. Vessel should use 2 anchors, 4 lines port bow, 4 lines starboard quarter, 4 lines port quarter. No wires accepted using port side manifolds for discharging.

Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI)
Cyprus has signed a PSI ship boarding agreement with the USA aimed at stemming the flow of weapons of mass destruction. If a US or Cyprus flagged vessel is suspected of trafficking proliferation related cargo, either party to this agreement can request authorisation to board, search and possibly detain the other's vessel and it's cargo.

The port
The port comprises of an open roadstead berth, with 3 mooring buoys. Only tankers can berth for discharge to the electric power station. The port has a mud and sand bottom. It provides an alternative anchorage and landing place to Larnaca during NE winds.
