Port of Calaca is situated at the head of Balayan Bay. The port is able to receives vessels up to 40,000dwt and handles coal, machinery, heavy equipment and steel coils.
Anchorages
Anchorage area A is chartered SE of Balayan town in depths from 38m to 82m, mud. Vessels with a draught less than 3m may obtain anchorage 0.15nm E Carabao Rock, in 11.5 to 13m with the light bearing 330°.

About Calaca

A private port situated some 160km S of Manila. It is located along the deep-water
portions of Balayan Bay. It has its own port capable of handling vessels of up to 14 meters draft, or up to 55,000DWT. It is strategically located in Luzon and is ideal to host locators especially those that are reliant on water transport.
The port
The port has been built to service the shipping requirements of the companies in the Bacnotan Industrial Park. The port caters to both domestic and international cargoes composed mainly of petroleum products, coal, salt in bulk, steel billets, industrial chemicals and molasses.
The port can handle 4 vessels with length-over-all (LOA) of 200 meters with a draft of 13 meters all at the same time. Aside from these, the inner berths can handle smaller-sized vessels/barges.
