Entry restricted by the locks and bridges on the Great North-Holland Canal. These are closed on national holidays, Sundays and from 1900-0700hrs.
Accessible for vessels from Den Helder of length 80m, beam 14m and draught 2.5m. For vessels with a beam less than 9.0m, a draught of 3.5m is allowed.
From Amsterdam Zaandam: Length 80m, beam 12m and draught 2.8m.
